Hardcore Realistic Vehicle Health V1.2 Mod
Hardcore Realistic Vehicle Health V1.2 Mod
NOTE: Subscribing to this mod will not work…..please install manually….read install instructions below.
I’ve done a lot of 4-wheeling and I know that one good BANG into a rock can end your whole day! This mod is for those who want REALISTIC damage values. No more second chances if you take a header off of a rockface, or spin out into the guardrail going 35mph. Small mistakes will also be punished severely now, easily resulting in critical damage.
Engine health decreased by 80% for all vehicles. (originally was 90%, but I found that made the engines un-realistically weak)
Gearbox, suspension, wheels, and fuel tank health decreased 90% for all vehicles.
Critical damage threshold decreased by 50%
Install instructions SIMPLE (simple, but will erase any other initial.pak file mods you have added)
You need to replace your .PAK folder with the one in the simple_install folder
1. Extract the Hardcore Realistic Vehicle Health folder
2. Find your snowrunner game files, usually here – Program FilesEpic GamesSnowRunneren_uspreloadpaksclient
3. backup the file named initial.pak (just copy it and paste it somewhere else, like the desktop)
4. in the Hardcore Realistic Vehicle Health folder, copy the initial.pak file from simple_install folder, and paste into the same game folder (Program FilesEpic GamesSnowRunneren_uspreloadpaksclient). Replace the files when prompted.
Install instructions ADVANCED (compatible with certain other .pak file mods, but usually not ones that edit vehicle component values like steering or engine power or torque ect..)
Backup the initial.pak folder
open winrar (winrar is free software from rarlab.com you can download if you dont have it)
drag the initial.pak folder from your game file (Program FilesEpic GamesSnowRunneren_uspreloadpaksclient) into winrar. This allows you to open and edit the file.
In winrar you should now see a [media] folder, open that, then open “classes” folder.
Drag the folders from my ADVANCED file to the classes folder and hit OK on the window that pops up.
